My take away from this module, I learned about Management by Objectives (MBO), a new concept that I had not heard of before concerning management. MBOs allow employees or personnel to work by committing themselves to accomplish specific goals set by the firm. In this case, identifying the mission and vision of the firm is integral to any work that an organization handles. Later, employees adhere to the instructions provided by their superiors to meet the demands of a project. Therefore, while handling different activities, employees focus on specific objectives. The readings assigned for this subject also helped me understand more about individual evaluations. Initially, I thought that personal evaluation involved assessing oneself without any external influence.
